在四个说唱分类的奖项当中，肯德里克-拉马尔均有作品入围。在四个乡村分类奖项的提名中，克里斯-斯泰普莱顿无无疑是最大的惊喜，在其中三个奖项当中都有提名。

美国当地实际2016年2月15日，2016年度格莱美音乐奖的颁奖礼将在洛杉矶的斯台普斯中心举行，CBS电视台届时将进行同步直播。在接下来的几周之内，主办方将陆续公布本届格莱美的演出嘉宾名单。
